Medical Mission in Ecuador

On February 25, 2012, a medical team of 20 healthcare professionals, volunteering with Healing the Children Kentucky chapter, arrived in Manabí Province, Ecuador.  In difficult circumstances, the team completed over 150 surgeries in just four days amidst devastating flooding caused by ongoing heavy rains, severe shortages, and periodic power outages.
